Originally designed as athlete’s housing for the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi, the neighborhood is an oasis of green in a residential enclave of South Delhi. After the games, much of the housing was sold to private owners. This architect couple chose to remodel the interior of their apartment. Completely handcrafted using a spare material palette of stone, teak wood, glass – the apartment balances light, color and view in a simple and direct manner.
