This private villa is situated in Dabouq, on a site surrounded by private residential villas with one side having stand of trees that are over 60 years old. Rectangular shaped house was designed on a square land plot while giving the client a huge backyard with a 10 meters long pool surrounded by beautiful landscape creating a BBQ zone and a seating area along with kids playing areas.. this was the way to gave the client nice back views since there wasn’t any interesting ones.
The first inner layer represents the entrance, salon , dining room and it has the living room arranged in a open plan layout, giving it a vibrant feel in order for the space to turn into a nice venue in certain occasions. The first floor is more of a private layer ; it has the four master bedrooms gathered around a private living room with a nice double volume overlooking the entrance zone. All services are given its own privacy at the basement level.
The outer shell of this residence is of fair-faced concrete with Equitone infills between the pure transparent glass, one will notice that the back elevation is more open to the backyard zone with large sliding window systems so they can enjoy the view. The fair-faced concrete and the Equitone continue their ways inside the house creating backdrops in the salon and bedroom areas offering a nice feeling of continuity and consistency inside and outside the house.
The landscape designer worked along with the design architects team to choose the right plants to match this grey house.. whites, lavender, burgundy and purplish colors were used to give the residence a magical feel once entered, vines were planted on the boundary wall next to the parking side which was covered with a charcoal aluminum canopy to protect the cars from different weather conditions.
