Guerra Clauss Architekten

Guerra Clauss Architects is a multidisciplinary and multicultural practice. It is based in Basel, at the geographic centre of Europe, on the border of three countries. This architecture and urban planning studio is led by partners with specific and complementary skills. It is the result of rich and diverse experience in Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, France, Netherlands, Denmark and Japan.
Thinking about the city and buildings of today and tomorrow for all users, while questioning construction systems and the use of materials to reduce the impact on our environment, is the credo of Guerra Clauss Architects.

The office history of Guerra Clauss Architects began in 2022 with the foundation of the office Guerra Clauss Garin Architekten by Ana Sofia Guerra, Arthur Clauss and Alejandro Garin. It was founded after winning the competition “New Office Building Botnar Research Centre for Child Health (BRCCH)” that the founders developed together in 2021. Since December 2023 the company is led by Ana Sofia Guerra and Arthur Clauss with the office name Guerra Clauss Architects.
