Gwendolyn Connors

Gwendolyn Conners has over 30 years of experience designing a variety of institutional, commercial, and residential projects throughout the United States and Asia. First joining 1100 in 1991, Gwendolyn returned in 2008 to lead high-end residential projects as well as transformative renovations for institutions including The Dalton School and Brooklyn Friends School. She has been a guest critic at Williams College, Parsons School of Design, New York Institute of Technology, and Columbia University. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Washington in 1983 and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University in 1987. She is licensed to practice architecture in New York state and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Jean-Cedric de Foy

Jean-Cédric hat Projekte unterschiedlichster Größenordnung und Typologie geleitet – von öffentlichen Gebäuden mit 60.000 Quadratmetern bis zu privaten Wohnhäusern mit rund 300 Quadratmetern. Seine Fähigkeiten im Projektmanagment, der persönliche Kontakt mit Kunden und sein gedankenvolles Design zeichnen ihn besonders aus. Jean-Cédric ist davon überzeugt, dass Architektur einen maßgeblichen Einfluss auf ihre Nutzer hat und dass Gestaltung verbunden mit deatailliertem Wissen über die Bedürfnisse des Nutzers, Kontext, Raum und Tageslicht zu Gebäuden führt, die nicht nur ihren Zweck erfüllen, sondern anregen und immer wieder positiv überraschen.
Sein Diplom in Architektur erhielt er am Bartlett University College in London und seinen Bachelor of Science in Architekturtheorie (Architectural Science) erhielt er an der University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
Susanne Milne

Susanne has expertly led her project teams on the design and construction of numerous internationally acclaimed and culturally significant buildings ranging in size from 5,500 SF to 2,000,000 SF. These include the design of a mixed-use residential project in Frankfurt that balances contemporary design with an historic renovation as well as high-end residential and office projects in New York. Prior to joining 1100, Susanne worked as a Project Manager with Studio Libeskind overseeing award-winning museums in Europe and with NBBJ on mixed-use projects in China. She received her Master of Architecture degree from the School of Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1999.
Ed Parker

As a Principal of 1100 Architect, Ed Parker, AIA, has designed and managed projects spanning a wide range of scale, typology, and complexity. From award winning residences to academic buildings on Ivy League campuses and LEED Gold certified commercial interiors, Ed embodies the ethos of 1100 in his work. Throughout his career, Ed has contributed to successful projects, cultivated a deep understanding of craft, texture, and detail as well as developed a strong technical foundation in thermal diagnostics and façade design. Ed received his Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003. He is licensed to practice architecture in New York state and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
David Piscuskas
FAIA, LEED AP, Founding Principal

David Piscuskas, FAIA, LEED AP, begründete 1100 Architect im Jahr 1983 mit und ist heute Direktor des Unternehmens. David ist davon überzeugt, dass gutes Design und funktionale, intelligente Architektur als kraftvoller Katalysator für Veränderung, Inspiration und Wachstum agieren kann. Seinen Überzeugungen folgend, vollendete er zahlreiche preisgekrönte Gebäude, einschließlich des Little Red School Houses, der Elisabeth Irwin High School in New York, des Irish Hunger Memorial in New York und der New York Public Library, Battery Park City Filiale.
Derzeit ist David Vizepräsident der AIA New York Chapter für Professional Development (professionelles Bauwesen). Juergen Riehm

Juergen Riehm, FAIA, BDA, is a co-founder of 1100 Architect. He believes in architecture as the all-encompassing art form, capable of affecting and portraying all facets of life and nature through an honest and timeless expression. Juergen has guided the firm in a number of recognized projects, including the Riverside Health Center (New York), the Queens Central Library: Children’s Library Discovery Center (New York), and the New York Public Library Battery Park City branch.
Juergen received a Diploma in Architecture from FH Rheinland-Pfalz in 1977 and his Post-Graduate Architecture Degree from the Städelschule Academy of Fine Arts in 1982, where he currently serves on the alumni foundation’s advisory board. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA), Member of the Chamber of Architects in the State of Hessen, and a member of the Bund Deutscher Architekten (BDA).
Gunter Weyrich

Frankfurt Director
As the Director of 1100’s Frankfurt office, Gunter Weyrich, Dipl.-Ing. Architekt, BDA, employs his strong leadership skills and design background to a wide range of typologies including large scale civic, mixed-use, residential, and office buildings, as well as private sector work. His projects include a new retail store for Zalando, the realization of the multi-residential project Main: East Side Lofts, police headquarters in Lich, the refurbishment of Terminal 1 at Rhein-Main Airport, and a new RDF power station with a construction budget of €300 million. Gunter received his Diploma in Architecture from the University of Kaiserslautern in 1997. He is a member of the Chamber of Architects in the State of Hessen and of the BDA.
