C2 Credenza

Moore + Friesl’s second home credenza is a striking artistic statement featuring a minimalist esthetic, meant to draw attention through its simplicity and beautiful soft glow.

The exterior features an ultra high-gloss finish using Senoplast furniture film, which is high-performance, PVC-free, UV-resistant and recyclable. The acrylic film is bonded to a wood substrate and then manufactured into the furniture piece. “By using this film over traditional painting techniques, you achieve a higher quality gloss finish that is scratch resistant,” says Marcus Friesl, co-founder of Moore + Friesl. The credenza’s interior features a bright acid green matte painted finish.

The C2 Credenza is a four-door unit with interior movable shelves (dimensions 84” wide x 22” high x 16” deep) and rests on 2-inch high polished stainless steel legs with built-in levelers. The rear of the unit features integrated LED lighting along the top edge and sides of the piece to render a soft, warm glow against a nearby wall. The integrated door handle reveals a pop of the interior color.

The C2 Credenza (retail $6,700.00) is available in custom sizes. Other options for customization include: installing drawers in place of doors; using powder-coated colors for the metal feet; using warm or cool tones for the LED light; and color combinations such as white exterior/red interior, dark grey exterior/acid green interior, dark grey exterior/red interior. The current finish pictured is white exterior/acid green interior.

Similar to the earlier C1 Credenza, this new C2 Credenza represents Friesl’s belief that an ultra-contemporary furnishing does not need to be stark and uninviting, but can have warmth and character, in this case, achieved through the LED lighting and the colorful integrated door handle.
