Aqua Multiespacio is located a few meters from the City of Arts and Science in the old riverbed of the Turia. It contributes to a growing demand for tourism, leisure and business in the city.
The complex is organised on a 5-floor triangular base, housing a leisure and shopping centre. Two towers rise from the base: one a 20-storey office block; and a smaller tower housing two hotels. The building is organized vertically to comply with town-planning requirements, achieving an urban point of reference. The architecture reflects its multi-purpose nature and creates a rich and diverse ensemble. Even though the building is complex, the material pallet was limited to stone, aluminum and glass. The result transmits a sober unity.
