Für Kinzo war die Aufgabenstellung klar: Die Entwicklung eines modularen Baukastensystems, das Räume zoniert. In Kinzos Designansatz steht die Wirkung der Möbelkombination im Mittelpunkt, das Einzelobjekt tritt in den Hintergrund. Der Name ist Programm: Hier steckt übersetzt der Begriff „unite“, also verbinden. Und Unit als Möbelsystem führt immer mehrere Teile zu einem Ganzen zusammen.
