For the sixth issue of FABER, the magnificent Sorrento residential high-rise in Dübendorf was photographed by Studio Willen over a 24-hour period and is now told through their personal view of the architecture in 1921 photographs. FABER 06 is a read in which images and words merge creatively. You can find the magical play of colors and shadows on the new Stücheli Architekten YouTube channel. You are welcome to like, follow and share. With the FABER series of works, creative personalities are invited at the beginning of each year to enrich the office's current buildings with their perceptions. FABER comes out once a year with a print run of 500 copies and is published by Stücheli Architekten AG, ISSN 2571-6433.

With its unique selection of materials, this high-rise in the park exudes personality and elegance. The outer shell made of anodised aluminium impresses with its simplicity and underlines the sculptural qualities of the building with its precise construction. In addition, the free-floating balconies and their shady roofs made of colourful metal slats characterise the look of the building. The ‘Sorrento’, whose name is reminiscent of a hotel building in Miami Beach, is home to apartments from the ground floor to the 20th floor. The 116 compact rental flats are primarily aimed at a young clientele.
