A project for a contemporary art gallery in Ginza, Tokyo. The following three requirements were set to do justice to a gallery located on a street corner in Ginza.
1.Match exhibits of varying shapes, sizes, and dimensions.
2.Utilize the corner location.
3.Express the individuality of the gallery.
Two rotating walls and hexagonal joints on the floor were used to comply these three issues. The joints were made to imitate tortoises that represent the character of the gallery, and the rotating walls produce.
