Renovation project of this ryokan started back in Spring, 2015 and is still in progress. The ryokan offers 20 guest rooms that are located in 39,670m2 site. 14 guest rooms are Japanese style detached suite rooms located in the site and 6 guest rooms are westerns style rooms which are located in the main building. Beyond guest rooms, there are restaurants, tea room, and souvenir store. The project was aimed to renovate overall ryokan and to be completed in 10 years. However, it was extended by 1 year due to the Kumamoto & Oita earthquake took place in April, 2016. After the earthquake project had been accelerated and 9 rooms were completed in during 2017 to 2018. Renovation of this suit room started in April, 2019 and was completed in August, 2019. Due to impact from the earthquake, a structure of this suit room had to be reconstructed in major way. The suit is a thatched and cedar bark roofed building and the overall roof was also renewed. Originally the suit was a Japanese style room but it had been elevated to a blended Japanese and Western style room. Bathroom had been renovated to a spacious Japanese style. Accommodate 6-7 guests.
