This project was a renovation of a teahouse garden section with the main Taikoen Garden that had been protected as a Tangible Cultural Property. We set up a water-feature to make the teahouse stand out. The six-meter-long bridge-stone used over the water-feature is modeled after the bridge-stone in the main garden pond, which is a major symbol of Taikoen Garden. We planted deciduous trees, such as maple and salas, around the water-feature.
