Hollin + Radoske Architekten have completed the conversion of a radiology surgery in Frankfurt. As a follow-up project for the radiology group surgery specialised on MRT and CT analytic methods, the Frankfurt-based architecture office have implemented a puristic and clear room architecture and interior design. Responsible for the floorplan design and all fittings, the high-end and efficient interior mirrors the material sensitivity and brand sensibility of Hollin + Radoske.
Essential for the design was the pursuit of an accessible, human and confidence-creating overall appearance, which builds the bridge to the highly technical image analyses processes of MRT and CT. The architects implement a clear spatial organisation, that enables an intuitive and self-explanatory orientation for the patients. Main design element is the colour concept of green and earthy colours, that has an accessible and calming effect on the patients. In addition, Hollin + Radoske applied the highest hygiene standards with the careful selection of fitted materials for floor, ceiling and counter.
