The Ruhr Tower in Essen is a modern architectural icon. The former administration building of Thyssen Krupp was one of the first high-rise buildings to be constructed after the Second World War. Today, the refurbished and listed building houses office spaces of the provider Design Offices, among others. The flexible working environments provided by Design Offices occupy almost 7,000 square metres of the Ruhr Tower. With coworking and office spaces as well as conference and event rooms, the branch combines all important modern working formats. The rooftop lounge on the former executive floor is a special highlight. The two-storey space on the 19th floor affords impressive views of the city. Here, as on the other floors, generous window areas create an extremely light atmosphere. brandherm + krumrey counter the sober charm of the post-war architecture with warm colours, materials such as mahogany and many foliage plants.
