A pavilion for joint and individual retreats.

A large transportation box is placed in the exhibition hall of the Burri company in Glattbrugg. A round display on the side of the unit features an overview of the history of the company, today run by two members of the family’s fifth generation. From the oldest to the youngest, the entire family can take part and in future can gather in their own office to continue to write company history. The spacious interior is accessible via a collapsible ramp. The comfortable atmosphere comes from the grain of the maritime pine boards, the floral design of the curtains, and the warm color of the cushions. The Seley chairs from Horgenglarus are kept in the company’s shade of blue.

With just a few adjustments, the conference room can be transformed into a living room, the conference table can convert to a family table; the corner sofa with a tea kitchen offers a comfortable space for meeting. Two office consoles are ready for work that requires concentration. The dual-layered supporting construction is perfectly soundproofed and guarantees quiet right in the midst of all the action.
