A world of natural materials
brandherm + krumrey developed an identity-generating spatial concept for the showroom of the largest German shoe manufacturer in Tokyo. The interior design makes the brand's feel-good philosophy come alive and serves as a prototype for other international locations.
The showroom with a meeting area and adjoining offices is designed as a combination of feel-good quality and serenity. Typical materials for the shoe fashion presented here, such as leather, felt and cork, characterise the interior design and create a warm counterpart to the steel-and-glass architecture. In the centre of the showroom, solid oak floorboards form an open room in the room for conversations with customers or informal meetings. A "Branding Wall" and "Presentation Tower" provide flexible display and storage options. Besides the open ceiling structure, luminaires and metal furniture with industrial chic contribute to the special atmosphere.
