Construction of a new company restaurant for Vaillant in Remscheid

In the centre of the company premises a new company restaurant was built for Vaillant in Remscheid. The building was given an energy concept that was primarily focussed on sustainability. The aim of the project was to create a future-proof, flexible and modern company restaurant with a high energy standard in order to offer employees a more attractive working environment. In addition to traditional cooking areas and ancillary spaces, the building also includes a transparent staff restaurant and a flexible conference area.

With seating for around 400 people, the restaurant serves around 1,000 meals a day. The successful combination of exposed concrete and wood in the interior of the restaurant offers a high quality of stay. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the premises can be mechanically ventilated and cooled. The façade of the building is made of wood and the green canopy outside invites you to linger in summer.

ICONIC AWARD 2024
The project received the ICONIC AWARD 2024 with the WINNER, Innovative Architecture and SELECTION, Innovative Materials awards, which were presented to us in the Hospitality category by the German Design Council on 8 October 2024 at BMW Welt in Munich.
