Oscillations of nature
The design reflects the company's deep roots in its history; this understanding of nature and sustainability is more valid than ever.
The striking topography of the site calls for a deeper engagement with this context. Gently rolling slopes with a small pond animate the form-finding process. The anticipated stratified lines of the terrain are modulated and transformed, creating a gentle sweep of a building volume with a joining of planes, edges and terraces virtually as a resonance to the found natural conditions - the building as a vibration of nature.
The smart form of orientation towards the landscape is contrasted with the rational facade of the entrance side. The orientation towards the landscape generates the greatest possible unwinding of the office arrangements, and in order to enable an expansive view of nature from all sides, the entrance façade is designed as a communication factor.
The individual program levels respond to the overall topographical situation in a meaningful way.
Oscillation with nature - an aspect that is also applied to the choice of materials and the differentiated overall design.
However, it is a modern, contemporary service centre that gives the expression of a dynamic partner for the challenges of the future through the articulated horizontality.
