(…) Drawing from Le Corbusier’s great Unités d’Habitation, one can actually speak of a machine. The apartments all have access to a free space, whether a loggia or garden. Most of the living units are, additionally, equipped with two stories and perforated from north to south.
The more people there are living together in a dense space, the greater the need for social and architectural free spaces in which the community can come together and spread out. (…) At the end of the sewing machine, they added two light blue boxes that cling to the building like friendly parasites. A sauna and fitness space hangs down from above for the adults, suspended below is a children’s play area. In front is an easily accessible terrace, which is roofed over high above and available only for the residents. (…)
