Mission CARBON CONTROL

At the Schüco stand, everything revolves around sustainable building and renovation. Under the claim "Building Networks", the company will be presenting future-oriented services and a cross-material product portfolio. With the launch of the Schüco CARBON CONTROL Minimising CO2 in construction campaign, Schüco is presenting its contribution to object-specific CO2 minimisation in all construction phases for the first time at the international building trade fair.

The stand concept is based on an urban planning context. How do we want to live in the future? Inviting green spaces are increasingly becoming the focus of urban metropolises. This is also the case at the Schüco stand: the center is a large garden, similar to a Central Park, as a meeting place and green lung of the city. This is surrounded by built, urban space with integrated Schüco products. The exhibits stand on their own and are presented in a minimal architectural environment.

The green center is a meeting place for dialogue, encounters and hospitality. The CARBON CONTROL campaign is communicated atmospherically as an extensive media display.

Exhibits and stand architecture form a staging unit, defining pathways and areas. The latest Schüco doors, windows and technical features are displayed in open, pavilion-like spaces. Entire façade systems extend over two floors to create space; their special properties, for example the highest fire protection classes, are memorably communicated via large-format media displays.

Sustainability matters!

Numerous measures have been implemented to significantly reduce and offset CO2 emissions from the Schüco BAU 2023 exhibition stand:

The built stand volume was reduced by a full 60% compared to the 2019 appearance. After the trade fair, maximization of the reuse of all exhibits and stand construction elements will take place, for example in the Schüco showrooms. The trees were donated to Messe München. Invitations were sent out exclusively digitally, printed brochures were dispensed with completely, and digital business cards were introduced for the Schüco team.

A presentation of this size cannot be realized entirely without CO2 emissions, which is why the CO2 offsetting of the entire trade fair stand was also carried out via ClimatePartner, as well as the CO2 offsetting of the travel of the Schüco guests with the GoGreen Ticket of Messe München and the partner myclimate.
