A place to enjoy, to exchange ideas with other colleagues or simply to come to rest: For the employees of the Viessmann Group, one of the leading manufacturers of energy systems, the interior designers of blocher partners in Allendorf have designed a restaurant that is more than just a canteen.

Co-working, sharing and networking have long shaped our working world. Due to the increasing importance of networking, the canteen as a place of exchange and encounter in everyday office life also takes on a new quality. Developing ideas and stimulating creative thinking in a relaxed atmosphere has become just as important there as an enjoyable lunch, which is also an expression of far-sighted, company health management. Offering employees such a space is the idea behind the Viessmann Group's new restaurant building at its main plant in Allendorf, which covers some 2,400 square meters. blocher partners was responsible for the interior design, and RSE Planungsgesellschaft for architecture.

The employee restaurant presents itself as an emotional showcase of the company's values: the areas flow, the access is open and at the same time integrated, barrier-free - a sign of appreciation and transparency. At the same time, the interior designers have succeeded in designing various areas with approximately 750 seats, offering each employee and his or her individual needs a place to go all day long for lunch or a creative break, as well as a shared space and thus an extension of his or her workplace.

In addition to rounded seating islands and smaller groups of tables that invite people to have a classic lunch with a close-knit group of colleagues, there are also areas that allow a business lunch to be quickly transformed into a meeting without having to change locations. For this purpose, for example, partition walls, blackboards and clip charts can be suspended from the flexible Multi-Lane ceiling rail. Space has even been created for larger events or "state of the world" meetings: Extendable and flexible grandstands allow for different room scenarios.

At the heart of the restaurant: the so-called marketplace, a café bar for casual get-togethers or a short break in between. The flowing momentum of the different areas continues on the terrace, which offers 360 seats. The floor coverings of the respective areas extend to the outside, thus extending the space into the greenery as if it were a matter of course. An oasis for a lunch in the midday sun, a cozy after-work session or informal meetings.

In line with Viessmann's self-image as a responsible manufacturer of air-conditioning and energy solutions, particular emphasis was placed on sustainability and regionality in the choice of manufacturers and materials. The high quality of the interior results in a high level of quality that adds value to a visit to the restaurant. The result is a place that stands for lively exchange, enabling inspiration and exchange as well as a moment of relaxation.
