Take a look at some works from Perfect Home, the exhibition of Korean artist Do Ho Suh installed in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan, through the lens of Nils Clauss.
We first featured Do Ho Suh's artwork last year on the eve of an exhibition at The Contemporary Austin. In that exhibition, he modeled his New York City apartment in translucent polyester. The same models are evident in the exhibition in the SANAA-designed museum in Kanazawa, as well as works that resemble traditional, if messy, doll houses. In each case, the home is the artist's canvas, and photographer Nils Clauss manages to transport us inside of them through his moving camera.
