T2.a Architects

Bence was born in 1974 and received his master degree in architecture at the Faculty of Architecture, Budapest University of Technology in 2001. He was later architect in different practices in Budapest. In 2004 he established T2a Architects together with his father. Since then he was leading several small and large scale projects, and is currently head of the office. He started his Doctoral Training (DLA) at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. He was nominated to the Iakov Chernikov Prize in 2010.

Gábor was born in 1948. He received his degree in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture, Budapest University of Technology in 1975. After graduation he worked in state owned architectural companies like Lakóterv and ÁÉTV for almost ten years. He received the most prestigious Hungarian professional award, the ’Ybl-prize’ in 1984, and became an independent architect in the same year. He founded T+S Architects in 1994 with István Simon. From 2004 he is working at T2a Architects with his son Bence. He has been a professor of architecture at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design since 2002.
