Slade Architecture

Slade Architecture was invited to exhibit their work at Syracuse University's School of Architecture in 2012. Our exhibit, titled "FOR_PLAY", focused on projects that were designed for or include an element of play.  As our firm approaches its 10-year anniversary, we see these projects as preparation for others to come; foreplay to larger commissions. The exhibit also focused on the playfulness of the design process, which is the foreplay that hopefully leads to the realized building. Some of the projects included are not built while others have been fully realized.. In the context of an architecture school, students are preparing for the ìreal worldî; the educational process itself is foreplay before life as a professional.
