Eight cars, five motorcycles, four bicycles, and a flat roof. I want to be able to see the cars from the living room," he said. The new house was planned on a flat site of 280 sq.m., which included a parking lot and a field that spread out to the north of the architect's current house. Looking at the cars he owns, all of them are beautiful and have in common a wide width and a low height. I intuitively wanted to incorporate these beautiful horizontal proportions into the architectural space. For the planning, we studied how the approach to the car and the parking space for 8 cars should be arranged, and adopted the most rational plan. Taking into consideration the size of the cars and their turning tracks, the basic unit of planar dimension is 6,000. A 12-meter square per side for cars and a 21-meter square per side for people were arranged on the site. The residential portion of the building is a 21m square plane, closed off from the surrounding area, but with four inner courtyards of different sizes and atmospheres, creating a comfortable and tranquil living environment. The space is divided into sections by a hanging wall that rises 1,900 above the floor. This low hanging wall divides the space, which extends forever in the horizontal direction, creating a sense of serenity as a residence. The final image of the house is a garage-garden house where people, cars, and greenery can live in harmony.
