The project aimed to restore and refurbish a hundred-year-old building in the heart of Basel, bringing it back to its former glory. Our main goal was to bring a modern interior look while preserving the architectural character.
The refurbishment of the apartment focused on enhancing the natural wood finishes while introducing modern design elements that complement the space. Custom-made design furniture was introduced adding a contemporary feel to the interiors. The layout was reconfigured to create an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area that maximizes natural light. A neutral palette was used to create a cohesive look throughout the apartment. New lighting fixtures were installed to highlight the architectural features of the space.
The exterior of the building has been carefully restored to its original character, while the interior has been modernized with all the latest design intent and amenities. The refurbishment has transformed the building into a stunning residence, with spacious and airy living spaces, luxurious bathrooms, and state-of-the-art appliances. Its prime location in the city, combined with its historic charm and modern amenities, make it a highly desirable place to live.
