This is an apartment complex completed in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, designed and supervised by our firm according to the basic concept planned by the owner of the complex. It is a three-story steel-framed building with the first floor as a statutory row house and the second and third floors as apartment buildings. The exterior walls are clad in asphalt shingles to create an image similar to that of the project owner's European townscape facade. The windows were designed to be fireproof by law, but fireproof sashes for wooden houses were used to reduce the cost of the project.
The interior of each unit is decorated with different types of cloth to create a different appearance even within the same floor plan. Owner/Property Owner/Basic Concept: Shimada Asset Partners Co.
