Social and economic sustainability are a few of the themes that have inspired us in developing this project. We have focused on creating a building that through its architecture and spatial disposition is able to define a new and personal identity for the citizens of Balling.
A building that can function as a starting point as well as an endpoint in a circuit of sporting and cultural activities thereby presenting Balling’s new heart.
The heart will be a large park that will contain attributes from town and country.
By the establishment of the “Pulsen” and a corresponding change in the landscape our proposal seeks to create a new focal point in the city.
The added framework consists of new and diverse, cultural, physical and social activities, which is added to the existing Balling Hall.
