Leipuri day care center is located in Myllypuro, 1960`s suburb of Helsinki. It is situated next to the church. The church and the day-care center form the two public buildings in the area.
The main façade is curved, plastered white. The roof follows a propeller form. A long “nose” leads to the second floor from an artificial hill. The wooden façade opens to the south and the playgrounds. Joachim Sederholm and Karin Widnäs have created artworks in the building.
