The main theme is as best coalescence of the house with the surroundings as possible, preservation of the character of the local development while maintaining an incomparably larger construction program – a contemporary family house providing a standard BOH compared with the local cabins undoubtedly does meet this requirement. The land slopes downwards from the access road. As it faces south, it was possible to hide a part of the house below the ground and thus control its volumetric effect within the above-mentioned context. Also the fact that the free façade areas are limited positively affects the energy consumption.
