A space once longing to the exposition park of architecture in 1930 and the L'Atomium and a stadium for the Universal Expo in 1958 becomes the "Quartier du Heysel" in Brussels which currently misses coherence and urban character.
The primary objective and challenge is to create a new lively and animated district to, in essence, initiate a new economic dynamism, ecological residences accessible to everyone and offer new touristic destinations including leisure and shopping centers. The Europea project is a new piece of Brussels unique in its program and exemplary in its design.
