CV Christina Biasi-von Berg
Christina Biasi-von Berg is owner of Biquadra, an interior architecture studio in Merano (South Tyrol, Italy) that is specialized in hotel interior design and renovations of existing buildings. Born in Ansbach (Germany), she studied interior architecture at the Polytechnic in Rosenheim (Germany) and subsequently earned a Masters degree in Interior and Industrial Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. From 1999 to 2004 she worked for Matteo Thun & Partners in Milan. Of particular importance during this time was her collaboration in the interior planning and onsite artistic supervision of the pilot project for the Vapiano restaurants in Hamburg and of the hotel projects Vigilius Mountain Resort and Pergola Residence in South Tyrol. Her working approach is sensitive and delicate, respectful of the building’s and place’s history and spirit. Her aim is to create unique and aesthetically high-quality spaces and buildings that shall withstand the course of time and express their own distinctive soul. Christina Biasi von Berg is a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects since 2005. 2011 she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture at the University of Innsbruck.

CV Peter Ippolito & Gunter Fleitz
Gunter Fleitz and Peter Ippolito founded Ippolito Fleitz Group in 2002. Gunter is a Member of Bund Deutscher Architekten BDA. He studied architecture in Stuttgart, Zürich and Bordeaux. After that he worked with Steidle+Partner in Munich, and was responsible for the Project management for the Federal Supreme Court Leipzig for Prof. Stübler. In 1999 he was founding member of zipherspaceworks. Peter studied architecture in Stuttgart and Chicago. He worked with Studio Daniel Libeskind, Berlin and was an assistant to Prof. Ben Nicholson in Chicago. In 1999 he was a founding member of zipherspaceworks too. 2001/02 he received a visiting professorship at the Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart. Since 2004 he is in a teaching position at the University of Stuttgart. Currently, Ippolito Fleitz Group presents itself as a creative unit of 37 designers, covering a wide field of design, from strategy to architecture, interiors, products, graphics and landscape architecture, each contributing specific skills to the alternating, project-oriented team formations.

CV Prof. Markus Pfeil
In 1997 graduate engineers Markus Pfeil and Holger Koch founded the engineering company Pfeil & Koch Engineering (PKi) in Stuttgart. Markus Pfeil studied mechanical engineering in Munich and Bochum. Afterwards he became a research assistant at the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research (ZSW) in Stuttgart. From 2001 to 2008 Markus Pfeil taught at the University for Technology in Stuttgart and also at the University of Biberach in the years 2004 to 2007. Since 2009 Markus Pfeil has been an adjuster for EnEV, and since 2010 an auditor for DGNB. Holger Koch studied aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart. After his studies he became a research assistant at the Institute of Technical Thermodynamics (ITT), a division of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Stuttgart. Afterwards he worked at the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research (ZSW). PKi GmbH has a team of approximately 20 employees specializing in the development and implementation of sustainable energy concepts, focusing on the innovative use of renewable energies such as solar energy, geothermal energy and biomass energy. The company is located in Stuttgart and Cologne.
