Secret Garden House

 Back to Projects list
Location
Chiba, Japan
Year
2017

Reconstruction of an old residential area. The theme of this project is to enjoy the wind, light, and plants in the garden, and to live with a sense of nature. By securing the privacy of the garden and terrace and making them part of the living space, time spent outdoors is made a part of everyday life, allowing people to live in harmony with nature. This not only increases the enjoyment and richness of life, but also enables people to sustain an eco-friendly lifestyle. By devising and incorporating ways to enjoy the harshness of nature, rather than simply controlling it through science and technology, we have been able to bring vitality and relaxation to our daily lives.

Total floor area 232.53m2
