The refurbished Hotel accounts for ground floor +7and has at its core a spectacular curved shaped glass Atrium which serves as distribution and access space to the guestrooms. Having a transparent skylight at its top, a beautiful daylight play happens throughout the day. The Lighting scheme aims to emphasize the beauty of the simplicity of its shape, structure and transparency, thus creating its volume. In this sense, two lighting systems make up the lighting scheme. On one hand, a continuous indirect recessed LED perimeter cove lighting emphasizes the vertical background allowing thus for the volume to appear, while creating reflections and partial visual extortions. On the other hand, small very narrow beam pinhole downlights, hidden within recessed ceiling cavity, provide accent and sparkle at door allowing for visual contrast. Both lighting systems are LED and are integrated into the overall control system, allowing for the right light at the right time of the day.
